A few Hours in a Catheterization Lab

Because of a series of unexpected events I had the opportunity to photograph a catheterization. Yep, it was pretty amazing. A tube is inserted in the groin area and worked up to the heart. If there are blockages they can sometimes be fixed by using a stent or just cleaning things up. Don't try this at home folks, you need really steady hands.
