I've been trying to take decent race pictures for several years. Every once in a while I get a couple that are sort of OK. Nope, nothing to send off to Car and Driver...but, OK journeyman kind of snaps. This race I'm not sure if I got my couple. There seems to be such an ordinariness and sameness to most of these photos. I tried using a shorter lens and getting a little closer; didn't like the results. Oh, well. There will be another race. NOTE: The last two pictures contain sequences; click on them and each will have several additional photos.
