Kite Flying at Mount Trashmore
Another skinny week. Yes, this picture-a-week is not working as easily as I'd thought. This taken at Mount Trashmore. And, yes, this used to be the main trash dump for Virginia Beach. One day they decided to cover it over and make a "park" out of it. Actually, it seems to have worked out pretty well. They occasionally even have a concert here. There were/are some skeptics. My grandmother used to say, "Who wants to go sit on a pile of trash and listen to that awful rock and roll music."
